Local Outreach

Each week LPC–Ignite students serve in local churches, para-church ministries, and other community organizations to gain an appreciation for ministry, community service and organizational leadership.

Local ministry and service hours give students an opportunity to see to what it means to serve others. These experiences give students exposure to different cultures within their own community. This provides maximum understanding and insight to Kingdom principles and values.

LPC–Ignite outreaches are strategically designed to provide students with hands-on ministry that practically applies what they are learning in class and equips them with a heart for service. Outreaches involve feeding the homeless, inner city ministry, after school programs, adopt-a-block programs, serving the Agency for the Aging, Special Olympics and many others. For the past five years LPC–Ignite students collectively serve an average of 12,000 hours a semester!

LPC–Ignite students gain an intensified passion to serve Christ by serving others in the local community

  • Students will be assigned to ministry teams with weekly assignments
  • Students will serve along side, on a weekly basis local churches, para-church and other non-profit organizations
  • Students will be given opportunity to step out and reach out on their own to people in need throughout the local community
