Michael Larkin, Ph.D.
President, CEO, and Adjunct Professor
Dr. Michael Larkin has served the community as a YMCA executive, in the local church as an associate pastor, at Foursquare Missions International as the director of missions and at Life Pacific College as a full time and adjunct professor. He has two earned Bachelor’s degrees in theology and organizational management, an MBA with emphasis in non-profit and international business leadership, and a PhD in Missiology with emphasis on global leadership and Pentecostal mission structure.
Joseph Volpi, M.A., M.F.A.
Vice-President of Operations and Adjunct Professor
Joseph Volpi is married to Kathy for 20 years and are blessed with 3 daughters: Toni, Jojo and Micki. In addition to teaching, Joe serves as the Vice President of Operations for LPC–Ignite.
Joe began his ministry under Pastor Jack Hayford at The Church on the Way, served our Foursquare Family as a ARC director and then as the National Church Administrator in the Foursquare National Church Office. He additional served as the Director of Education for the Foursquare church. Preceding that, Joe served as a Vice President at The King’s University for 7 years and oversaw Living Way Ministries at the same time.
Joe has earned two master’s degrees; one in Economics from UNLV and another in Writing for Theater, Film and Television from UCLA,. He worked as a playwright and television writer in Hollywood and as a playwright, in addition to founding his own consulting company. He resides in Virginia where they now pastor a church in their home town.
Ryan Lytton, M.A.
Academic Coordinator and Adjunct Professor
Ryan Lytton was raised in Southwest Virginia, attending High School only a few miles away from the current LPC–Ignite campus. He started his education at LIFE East Bible College and continued at Life Pacific College where he graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies. While there he learned to read both Greek and Hebrew, and developed a passion for studying the Bible in its original languages.
His Life-Mission is to help equip future ministers of the gospel with the education they need to accurately interpret the Word of God. He has a Master of Arts in Christian Thought from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he focused on Patristic Theology, specifically how they interpreted scripture. He’s presently working on a second MA from Gordon-Conwell, this time in Old Testament. Upon completion, he hopes to pursue a PhD by researching the history of interpreting the Old Testament.
He has been married to Samantha Lytton (also a Life Pacific graduate) since 2008. Their first child, Marshall, was born in 2014, and their second, Amelia, was born in 2016.
Interim Recruitment Coordinator
Kasie Barret is a graduate from LPC–Ignite and is currently working towards her Bachelors Degree from Life Pacific College while she serves as the assistant to the President of LPC–Ignite, Mike Larkin. She is passionate about missions, children, and doing ministry in a practical way.
Resident and Campus Coordinator
Lacey was born and raised on a farm in rural Amelia, Virginia where she developed a love for music and worship. She joined LPC–Ignite in California in the Fall of 2010; since then she has had opportunity to both travel on and lead missions across the continental U.S. and internationally to Kenya. She will be acquiring her Bachelor's of Arts degree in Ministry and Leadership from Life Pacific College in May 2015.
