Transitions — Be Strong and Courageous

Today I am blessed to do what I am passionate about — helping young leaders grow in their walk with the Lord and discover their life-mission!

The story of my life is about transitions. From being a Pastor’s kid and a law student in the South of Brazil, I transitioned to being a wife and was immersed in two different cultures, the American culture and Taiwanese culture as my husband and I served in a Taiwanese church for the past six years. This past July, I transitioned from being a Consular Officer at the Consulate General of Brazil in Los Angeles to a Recruitment and Communications Coordinator at LPC-Ignite.

Transitions, whether good or bad, can bring us anxiety and sleep deprivation, but God’s word encourages us to be strong and courageous. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9). If God called you to go, He will go with you. He will empower you to fulfill God’s call on your life.

Transitions also bring so much richness and opportunity for growth. Today, I get to be a part of emerging leaders’ transition from being high schoolers to becoming men and women of God who are ready to answer God’s call on their lives. I have no doubt that these young college students will change the world and I am so proud and so blessed to be here to serve and be part of their transformation.
